NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers on Monday exhumed a number of graves and sprayed racist graffiti in the Sawiya village in Nablus, a Palestinian Authority official said.
Ghassan Daghlas, who heads the PA settlement activity file, said settlers from the Alia settlement were responsible for the damage.
He added that a plant nursery and two tractors, belonging to local Abdel Azziz Nasserallah, were also damaged in the attack.
The attack follows clashes on Saturday in the Burin village in Nablus, when dozens of settlers marched into the village.
One villager in Burin was slightly hurt in the hand by a stone and another passed out from tear gas fired by Israeli troops trying to separate the two groups, an AFP journalist said.
The military said that Israeli soldiers also fired rubber-coated bullets, lightly wounding a Palestinian who was given first aid on the spot.

I sincerely appreciate the care & concern of the People over my well-being after Press TV's report of the most recent events which have transpired regarding the F.B.I.'s harassment of me.
Given the storm of lies, and half-truths that come with being associated with being the descendant of El Hajj Malik el Shabazz, also known as Minister Malcolm X, any and everything that I do; great or small, good or not so good, real or imagined is subject to controversy. However, in this missive I will take this opportunity to properly & fully disclose what transpired.
In the beginning of 2012 I had been informed that I was under investigation by the F.B.I.'s Counter Terrorism Task Force Unit located in Goshen, N.Y.
The agents of this division-and in collaboration with others-have visited several residences of which I was known by them to frequent. However, they would never come when they knew me to actually be there. They would leave their cards with the residents asking them to tell me to call them, and then would tell surrounding residents to observe the house and to notify them if they saw me.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a report from a pilot of an Alitalia passenger jet who says he saw an unmanned aircraft while landing at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.
"We saw a drone, a drone aircraft," the pilot can be heard telling controllers on radio calls captured by the website LiveATC.net.
"The FAA is investigating a report... he saw a small, unmanned or remote-controlled aircraft while on final approach to Runway 31 Right," according a statement sent to CNN by FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown. "The sighting was approximately four to five miles west of the airport at an altitude of approximately 1,500 feet," she said.
That description puts the aircraft somewhere over Brooklyn and on the other side of the airport from where the plane was coming in for a landing.

Dear People of the United States,
The fall out to the unfortunate and devastating massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary has once again raised to the forefront the blatant hypocrisy of American politics. The discussions that dominated the evening news, talk shows and social media were regarding the responsibility of a society to protect its children. It is taken as a truth that the safety of innocent children should be a nonpartisan issue, with no place for politics. So what we must ask ourselves is: Is it only American children whose safety we should be concerned with?
If we as Americans cannot bear to witness the indiscriminate death of American children in American schools, how as members of the human race, do we allow our government to cluster bomb villages? How can we allow our government to use drones and drop payloads on top of foreign schools and homes, killing innocent and unsuspecting children. Do not the children of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Yemen bleed red like those who perished in the Sandy Hook massacre?
Why should our humanity be contained within the borders of the United States? Should we not treat others in a manner that we expect to be treated? Does the Golden Rule not apply to people and children living in foreign lands? So what if we don't share the same faith, same religion, same culture. Imam Ali, a seventh century Muslim caliph advised his governor in Egypt, "One is either your brother in faith or your brother in humanity."
How, as members of the human race, can our elected officials dare to wipe tears for innocent children killed on their own soil but have no remorse for innocent children killed by their drones? It is quite apparent that our government’s elected officials do not represent us. Instead, they are serving the interests of lobbies, large donors, and corporations. We can no longer remain silent while those in office pursue interests contradictory to human decency. We must decide that we have had enough. We cannot sit silently while our President nominates a proponent of drones and “enhanced interrogation techniques” ie torture, for the position of CIA director. We must allow our morality to rise above politics. We will not tolerate the murdering of innocent civilians in the guise of “collateral damage." We must hold our government accountable.
