Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez claims U.S. criticism of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has a clear aim: military invasion.
"Let's not get carried away by the drums of war, because the United States, I am sure that they are exaggerating and distorting things to justify an invasion," Chavez said Monday, according to Venezuelan state media.

I would say that Hugo Chavez has far greater credibility than Bush, Obama, or any other representative of the U.S. government...which is not only a White-Settler state (not a country). At no time in its entire history has the U.S. ever been a Democracy. It was an invasion, that turned into an occupation based on annihilation, that got rich off of kidnap and subjugation to slavery.

The people of Libya were not oppressed, they did not live in poverty, illiteracy, denial of access to health care, homelessness, mass incarceration, and a police state. Yet,you have all of this on a mass scale here in the U.S., in Britain and France.

These problems were rampant in Venezuela until Hugo Chavez was elected by the people and returned to power, defeating the U.S. sponsored attempted coup. Do not be fooled by the Western corporate press, they had to destroy the Libyan revolution, demonize Qaddafi, as their dictators fell on either side. Long live the spirit of Muammar Qaddafi.

Hugo Chavez, in my opinion he has no credibility, it is obvious he is building a dictatorship in Venezuela for years, we all saw his position towards the protest in Egypt encouraging Mubarak not to step down, this is also consistent with his position from the uprising in Libya.

On the other hand, I don’t support US military attack on Libya even if for saving innocents, I however praying for international forces to support Libyans from being killed by the crazy Gaddafi, I criticize the slow action taken by the UN, Security Council and the shame on what so called Arab League
